Fútbol, family and Argentina with Andrew DeLuca
Andrew DeLuca can’t remember when he was first introduced to fútbol, but it was probably before he could even form memories. Born and raised in the US by an Argentinian father and Peruvian mother, keeping up with fútbol games was a top priority and hard to do at the time. Then the pastime became a family affair, with all the members of the family now partaking in the traditions and superstitions that involve cheering on Argentina during a World Cup.
In this episode, Andrew talks about growing up in a Latino household, living in Argentina for the first time after college, his close relationship with his family, and how fútbol was there for him through all of it.
